These activities will take place in September, 2024 and intend to attract both the academia and industry within and outside the HoliCare Consortium. The secondments are being organized between beneficiary and hosting institutions under the coordination of SPIDER. HoliCare builds a holistic approach in patient management and epidemic surveillance through convergence of diagnostic technologies, capacity building and stakeholder engagement. The project responds to research findings on poverty related diseases in sub-Saharan Africa showing that limitations in technological and non-technological resources, which affect diagnostics can ensure proper healthcare services.<\/p>\n
The focus is on lower respiratory tract infections and to ensure a holistic approach to bridging the hard and soft infrastructures needed to improve diagnostic care in sub-Saharan Africa. With the overall goal to improve healthcare delivery in sub-Saharan Africa by ensuring innovative diagnostic solutions for these infections.<\/p>\n
