SPIDER organises Soirée to welcome partners in Stockholm 

The Stockholm Internet Forum offers some of past and present SPIDER partners to visit the well known conference in Stockholm and we are delighted to report that in 2023 SPIDER organised an opportunity to dine and discuss the latest in digital development with partners from near and far.

Unfortunately, many of the partners who wanted to attend missed out due to early flights but we made every effort to connect via our Director Caroline Wamala Larsson, and Programme Lead Dr Muna Elmi, who attended SIF in person. Our partner from Bolivia talked about how SPIDER funding has helped women in their project to triple their income in selling crafts online, despite the COVID-19 lockdown, ensuring the development of online and mobile marketing skills being fully utilised for growth of the digital economy but also independence of the women in the project. ODC from Cambodia, CIPESA from Uganda and numerous new potential parts that had heard about the way SPIDER does digital development. SPIDER thanks all our partners for showing up and also those of you who where there in spirit.
